Battle of Karameh, Jordan fights back -1968

After the 6 Day War of 1967, when Jordan had lost so miserably to Israel, both Israel and Jordan once more went to battle in a small Jordanian town called Karameh on 21 March 1968. The mentality of the Israeli leadership was deeply rooted in the 6 Day War and they expected the same failures from Jordan from both the strategic and operational levels.
The Israelis decided to attack the Palestinain Liberation Organization basis in Jordan. They hoped for a quike and swift victory but as it turned out to be, it was Israel's first major defeat. Israel failed in acheiving her goals and lost 250 soldiers killed and 450 injured. another 43 tanks and 53 vehicles and 7 warplanes were destroyed by the Jordanians.
We are never told about what the Arab side has to say about her wars with Israel, even the "neutral" sites state Israeli and highly biased sources.
